Iranian Diaspora

Around Two weeks ago I was in an informal meeting. A friend introduced me to a lady. And this dialogue exchanged:

Are you Spanish as well?
Oh, no, I am Iranian.

Oh, really [with enthusiasm] from middle east, isn’t it?
Yes

Nice to meet you.
Nice to meet you too.

From her accent I found that she is American.

................

At the end of the meeting, she came close to me and said:

My father is also Iranian. But I have never been in Iran. Actually all my family are living in the United State. But I really like Iran and do like to visit there at some point.

I said: I hope so.

I know also some Farsi. Can we meet sometime?
Of course, it is a pleasure.

Hope to see you soon.
“Khodahafez”

I laughed and said khodahafez.

  2. dear bahare, I have to congratulate your weblog. But i'm afraid why you didn't talk about it beforehand.
Anyway, I’m going to read them all.
The first thing is making me nervous is about the dark color of the blog! as the first tip!

  3. Thanks to both of you for your nice comments. Actually I like this black colour. Other people also warn me of using that colour. but you know if I want to change the colour I need to change the whole template as well which is not my favorites. I will think about it and may try other templates. Hope find a good one.
